I define my spirituality as an awareness and connection to the "formless" world within and around me.
It's ironic to say I'll show you how I "do" Spirituality, since for me it's mostly about "being" and learning.
Yet, I wish to share the following with intention of showing you how easy it can be.
It doesn't need to be another "thing" to add to your life. You may already be practicing spirituality without realizing it.
Just being lovingly intentional can make all the difference.
Sitting by a tree and being aware of how long it has been here. Who may have visited the tree? How deep do the roots go? How the tree relates to me or how I wish to be like a tree - deep roots, reaching high to the Divine. Solid, stable, and deeply rooted despite what chaos is presented around it.
Walking in nature and being mindful of the energy around, the smell of Mother Earth. Feel the fresh, alive air, the alive, untouched, natural energy. Feel it go within my own body. It is within me, it is me.
I sometimes walk with no podcasts or music. I am mindful of the steps my feet are taking, I feel all parts of each foot land on the ground then peel back off the ground.
Hot Bath. The feel of the hot water against my skin as I mindfully sink in. The candle burning is symbolic to me to...pause. There is nothing to do but watch the candle. The bath is a pause to me. The door is locked. No children will come in. No talking needs to take place. Nothing to plan. Nothing to think about. Feeling the water against my skin. I feel alive yet relaxed and connected.
Studying Spiritual Psychology. Two of my passions. Coaching others is mutually reciprocal. As they embody self-healing, I do too. I have to understand it, live and breathe it to coach. This is my way of healing and ensuring I will continue on this path. Then I get to give back by working with others.
Quick body scans of Reiki energy through my Chakras and then out to others.

Mindful painting. Just picking up my children's cheap art paints and free-styling or painting something with a deeper meaning like a picture of my inner child.
A cup of my favourite organic Rooibos tea with almond milk. It tells my nervous system and mind that it's time to pause.
Listening to neurofeedback music or Reiki healing. Free downloads are everywhere.
Journalling. But not how I used to. Go here for tips on journalling.
Staring into the soul of a picture of my beautiful inner child as a reminder that she is still me.
Burning a candle.
Conscious conversations or laughing with friends.
Letting loose and laughing til tears come out with my children.
Infusing quality essential oils into the air.
Mindful practitioner massage. I want to be conscious of whose energy I am allowing into my body.
Dancing. By myself or in a group. Misty Tripoli online sessions, Zumba classes. Ballroom dancing. Hip hop classes. Any type of dance as long as it feels good.
The daily reminder to myself that there is something greater. Keeping myself constantly reminded that there is something greater than us to support us. Paying respect and gratitude to this energy feeds my soul. I love doing those things that bring me closer to the Universal energy, so I want to infuse as much as possible of spirituality in to this human life.
